He is responsible for leading the company’s vision and strategy around people and organizational effectiveness while advancing a culture that embraces performance, growth, and inclusion across the company’s global diverse workforce. O’Byrne leads Advanced Energy’s global human resources and environmental, health and safety organizations. Rory O’Byrne joined Advanced Energy in May 2020 as senior vice president and chief people officer.

In addition, he serves on the company’s board of directors.
